Technical Assistance:
On-line CPR/First Aid training was discussed with the program director. The CPR/First Aid certification training must include a practical demonstration. Determining and documenting the difference between diagnosed food allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions was discussed with the program director. Expanding the reunification procedures in the evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown plans were discussed to clarify the procedures and the roles of staff.

Comments:
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted today. The inspector arrived at 11:48 AM and departed at 4:30 PM. Thirty-five children were in care. Fourteen staff records and a sample size of five children's records were reviewed. Chidlren's food allergies were reviewed. The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed. An exit meeting was conducted with the program director prior to closure of the inspection. Please contact the inspector if there are any questions.
