An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 10 AM and ending at 12: 15 PM. There were eighteen children, ages three to five, in the care of two staff members. The children were observed playing with blocks, dolls, and other toys. The children were also observed drawing and working on a guitar art project. Six children?s records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent health inspection was documented as August 8, 2016. The most recent fire inspection was documented as August 4, 2016. The most recent emergency evacuation drill was documented as June 27, 2017. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as May 10, 2017. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance.

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11 Description: Based on a review of documentations and medications, it was determined that the center did not have a written allergy plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy. Evidence: Child A did not have an allergy care plan in their record. Plan of Correction: The center will request that the parent obtain a allergy care plan from the child's physician.
