Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a report that was received by the licensing department on July 12, 2017 regarding concerns with the staff supervision of the school aged children in the classroom setting and children at the outdoor playground areas, and staff interaction with children in care. On July 19, 2017, the licensing inspector was on site from approximately 11:00 am until 12:52 pm. During this inspection, the inspector completed interviews with the staff and the owner, monitoring of staff to child ratios and overall interactions, and observations of facility changes. The owner notified the licensing inspector that recent facility changes were initiated in effort to ensure quality services and best practices at the center. This complaint was determined to be not valid. There were no violations cited as a result of this complaint. If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact your licensing inspector, Tiffany Harris, at (804) 662-9772.
