An announced initial inspection was conducted from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. There were 176 children in care being supervised by 27 staff members. The children were observed participating in outdoor activities, cooperative games, and lunch. All meals are provided from home and not prepared at the center. Fifteen children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Thirteen staff records were reviewed. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 7/21/2017. The first aid kit, flashlight, and radio were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed and in compliance. Five medications were reviewed. There are currently nine staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-G Description: Based on observation of five medications it was determined that not all medication procedures were followed. Evidence: The emergency medication for Child A was not kept in the original container accompanied by a prescription label indicating the child's name, dosage, medication name, and times to be administered. Plan of Correction: Administration will request the original container with prescription label from the parents of Child A.
