An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today. The SHSI standards were reviewed including a review of six staff and three children's files as well as medications for three children. Arrival time: 4: 20 p.m. Departure time: 6: 50 pm.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on a review of the evacuation procedures in the emergency preparedness plan, it was determined that there were no reunification procedures for evacuations. Plan of Correction: We will include lock down procedures in the EPP.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-2 Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan it was determined that there was no reunification procedures for shelter in place drills. Plan of Correction: We will add these procedures to the EPP.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-3 Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan it was determined that there were no lock down procedures in place. Plan of Correction: We will include lock down procedures in the EPP.
