Consultation provided on facility specific orientation training as well as the need for a written allergy plan from a physician when a child has a diagnosed allergy. The plan should include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Consultation provided on posting a current list of al children's allergies, sensitivities , and dietary restrictions. Consultation provided on written lock-down procedures and reunification procedures for evacuation and shelter-in-place drills.
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today with the director who was present with 55 children with 7 staff providing supervision. Five staff and children's files were reviewed today as well as the SHSI requirements. One child had medication on site. Arrival time: Departure time:
