Comments:
Licensing Inspector arrived at 10:25am and departed at 2:30pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour, there were 115 children, ages seven months old through twelve years old. Children were observed eating lunch, during rest period, and participating in various classroom activities. The sample size was ten children and eleven staff.

Violations:
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E-1
Description: Based on a record review, it was determined that the vendor failed to ensure that all staff obtain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the age of the children. Evidence: 1. A review of eleven staff records found that seven were lacking current certification in CPR. Staff #10 and staff #12 did not have documentation of current certification in CPR. 2. Administrative staff verified that staff #10 and staff #12 were lacking current certification in CPR.

Plan of Correction: The facility responded: All current staff will complete certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the age of the children.. Any new staff will complete the certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the age of the children. within 90 days of employment.
