Comments:
An unannounced complaint investigation was conducted to investigate a complaint related to staff-to-children ratios, allergies, and following air quality regulations at the center. The inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 8:00 AM and ending at 10:00 AM. Two staff interviews were conducted. One child record was reviewed and in compliance. It was determined that the complaint was valid and a corrective action plan was developed by the center. Description: Based on observation and staff interview the center did not maintain required staff-to-child ratio when directly supervising children. Evidence: On Monday, July 31, 2017, there were nine two year old children in the care of one staff in the Preschool 1 classroom.

Plan of Correction: The center will be changing schedules to cover the amount of children during the morning hours. The center has also recently hired new staff.
