Licensing inspector arrived at 10:05 am and departed at 1:45pm to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of the tour there was thirty-one children in care with 5 staff . Additional staff was present to assist in the classrooms. Children were observed playing outside and playing with manipulatives. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 5 staff records. Areas of non-compliance was reviewed with the owner/director.

Description: Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure for each group of children, the vendor maintained a written record (hard copy) of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: During the subsidy inspection conducted on August 4, 2017, There was not documentation of departure of each child in care. Confirmed with staff.

Plan of Correction: The vendor will add the documentation for departure on the form.

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A
Description: Based on and interview and review of procedures, the vendor did not have emergency preparedness plan for lock down and reunification for evacuation, shelter in place and lockdown. Evidence: During the subsidy inspection conducted on August 4, 2017, the vendor did not have procedures for reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child for evacuation , shelter in place and lockdown.

Plan of Correction: The vendor will review over requirements and updated the emergency preparedness plan.
