Lock-down procedures shall be practiced at least annually.

Comments:
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the assistant director beginning at 12:45 PM and ending at 3:50 PM. There were fifty-three children, ages ranging from three months to thirteen years, were in care during the inspection. Children were also observed napping or resting quietly on the cots. Ten children?s records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as August 2, 2016. The most recent health inspection was documented as February 8, 2017. Description: Based on review of documentation, the center did not have documentation of a written allergy care plan for children with a diagnosed food allergy. Evidence: Child A and B have a diagnosed food allergies and did not have a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction, in the file.

Plan of Correction: The center will obtain an allergy care plan from the parents.
