An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted in the Center on August 25, 2017. There were 10 children present. Two staff members were supervising the children's activities. The children were observed as they participated in self-selected centers, outdoor play and the lunch meal. An additional staff member was also present in the center and prepared the lunch meal. Staff were observed interacting with the children. As reported, 13 children are currently enrolled in the program. A sample of 5 children's records was reviewed. Documentation of the Center's annual fire and health inspections was current. A prescribed medication was observed for a child, authorization to administer was current. Reviewed documentation for medication administration training (MAT) was current for a staff member. Staff records are retained at the main office, 3 complete staff records were reviewed prior to the on-site inspection. A discussion was held with the Monitoring/Compliance Supervisor regarding the revised sworn statement and the Code changes effective 07/01/17, to be implemented by 09/01/17.
