An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 3:40 and ending at 5:20 PM. There were thirty two children in care during the inspection. The children?s ages ranged from five to ten years old. The children were observed eating snack which consisted of carrots, celery, ranch dressing, and milk. The children were also observed playing with Legos and board games. Bathroom and hand washing procedures were observed. Five children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site. The emergency escape drill was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent lock-down drill was documented as January 31, 2017. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as April 27, 2017. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as June 18, 2017. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as January 26, 2017. The most recent health inspection was documented as August 31, 2017.
