Discussed new requirements with Background Checks regarding residing in and out of the state.
An unannounced inspection was conducted from 850-11:10. The Inspector observed classes and found all groupings were in ratio. Teachers were observed interacting with the kids and attending to new children. Lunch, hand washing, physical plant, activities, materials were checked too. 5 Staff records and children's records were reviewed and medication policies are being followed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A Description: Based on record review it was determined that the center has not obtained an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official. Evidence: 1. The last inspection report is from 2016 but the permit has an expiration date of May 31, 2017. Plan of Correction: We will contact the Fire Department and request current permit.
