A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 9/8/17 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 9/8/17. There were 25 children present with two staff supervising. Five children's records and two staff records were reviewed. Three emergency medications were observed for one child. The inspector arrived at the school at 4:00 pm and departed at 6:00 pm. The children were observed during snack and movie time, during table toy/free time, and during departures. There was discussion with the site director about the following: location/storage of cleaning supplies, food sensitivity postings (subsidy requirement). A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
