An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:00 AM and ending at 8:55 AM. There were fifty-eight school-age children in care during the inspection. The children were observed doing a ?Van Gooh? themed art project, reading books, and playing card games. Children were also observed eating breakfast which consisted of ham and cheese croissants or cereal and granola bar, orange juice or sweet potato fries, and milk. Five children?s records were reviewed. Four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Eight medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent lock-down drill was documented as January 19, 2017. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as April 27, 2017 The most recent emergency evacuation drill was documented as September 5, 2017. The most recent fire inspection was documented as November 7, 2016. The most recent health inspection was documented as May 4, 2017.
