Discussion of the subsidy regulations and how they apply to the Child Day Center (CDC).

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted at Loudoun P&R - Sycolin Creek CASA located near the town of Leesburg, Virginia. This inspection was conducted on 09/14/2017, between the hours of 2 pm through 4:30 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An Unannounced Renewal licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. If you should have any future questions, please call. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11
Description: Based on review and interview, 2 of 3 medications reviewed indicated that a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy (to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction) was not available. Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (09/14/2017), a written allergy care plan was not available for the following children: Child #1, and Child #2. 2. The Center Director stated (during an interview conducted on the date of inspection) that blank action plans to be completed for all applicable children were being given to their parents today.

Plan of Correction: All applicable action plans shall be completed and placed on file.
