Add: A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/18/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Children were observed participating in group time, art time, picture day, outside time, lunch, and rest time. There were 58 children in care, ages 3 months-5 years, with 11 staff, kitchen staff, and administrative staff. Children and staff files and other documentation were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are identified on the violation notice. This inspection began at 9:15am and concluded at 12:50pm.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-B Description: Based o review of documents and discussions with staff the vendor failed to maintain compliance with this standard as required relating to the Pre-Service Training. Evidence: Staff #2, hire date 5/18/17, had not yet completed the required 10 hour Pre-Service Training as required. The allowed time frame for completion had expired. Plan of Correction: Staff will complete the training by the end of this month.
