An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-11:15am. At the time of inspection, 56 children (three years through five years) were directly supervised by 10 staff and ratios were in compliance. The sample size consisted of 5 children records, 5 staff records, and 3 new staff records were reviewed. Children were observed during circle time, engaged in art projects and reading, preparing for snack, and outdoor play time. The Panda Classroom had a monarch butterfly habitat to observe. Handwashing procedures were also observed as children transitioned from the restroom to the classroom. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and developmentally appropriate materials for the children. Area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice.
