A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 9/19/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. . The inspection began at 10 A.M and concluded at 1:30 pm. There were twenty nine children present with eight direct care staff and the Program Director was also present. During the inspection seven staff's and five children's records were reviewed. All three outdoor playgrounds were viewed, hand washing was observed, infant care was observed, all four classrooms were observed, a sample of injury reports were reviewed, emergency supplies were viewed, lunch time was observed, nap time was observed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
