Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:30 and ending at 12:30. There were 43 children in care today with 11 staff. Children were ages 16 weeks through 4 years of age. Children were observed playing on the floor with age appropriate toys, doing table activities, participating in group Circle time and having snack. Reviewed Medications for 2 children - documentation is complete Reviewed 4 new staff files and 3 Veteran staff files - complete Reviewed 8 children's files - complete Emergency escape drills and shelter in place drills are current as are Health and Fire Inspections. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-A
Description: Based on observation, it was determined that one classroom had cleaning supplies that are accessible to children. Evidence: In the Three year old classroom, there was Glade spray, Hand Sanitizer and Bleach Water on the second shelf of a cabinet that was not locked.

Plan of Correction: The Administrative staff will assure that the door can be locked. In the meantime, a lock box will be used.
