A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/22/02170 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector arrived at 900am and departed at 11:30am to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 51 children in care with 12 staff present. Children were observed on the playground and playing in learning centers. Infants were observed in cribs, on play mats and being held by staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on a record review the vendor failed to ensure all required components were included in the emergency preparedness. Evidence: 1. The vendor's emergency plan did not include reunification plans for evacuations, shelter-in-place, and lock down. 2. The emergency plan did not include specific locations for shelter-in-place/lockdown. Plan of Correction: These components will be added to the emergency plans by next week.
