CPR/First AId certification was discussed.
An unannounced morning inspection was conducted from 930-1100. There were 18 children when the Inspector arrived and ratios were met. The program has no medication stored but has MAT certified staff present. Emergency Preparedness plan is current and an evacuation drill was conducted and recorded in August. Emergency supplies were reviewed and battery operated radio and flashlight were working. Children were not in the additional space today and Inspector discussed items required for the space in the event it is used. Please call with questions. 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review of 6 children's files, it was determined items are not complete in files. Evidence: 1. Child # 2 does not have 2 emergency contacts because 1 of the 2 is the child's parent. 2. Child #4's file does not include work numbers for the parents. Plan of Correction: I will talk to the parents and have one parent removed as EC and add another person. Will talk to parents about numbers.
