22VAC40-191 Background Checks (22VAC40-191)
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 3:50pm-6:15pm. Upon arrival there were 15 school-age children in care with 2 staff present. The children were observed eating snack, coloring, doing homework and playing with tabletop activities. A sample of 2 staff and 2 children's records were also reviewed. The center did not have any medication at the time of inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on a record review the center failed to ensure all required information was kept for each enrolled child. Evidence: 1. Child #1 (doe 09/05/17) did not have documentation of a proof of identification. 2. Child #2 (doe 09/05/17) did not have documentation of a proof of identification. Plan of Correction: Staff will obtain proof of identification for child #1 and #2. All records will be checked for compliance.
