Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at the facility on September 14, 2017 from approximately 1:00pm-2:45pm. Upon the entrance there were 52 children present with 9 staff members. Additional staff was on site for administrative support. The Licensing Inspectors observed children working on cursive writing, water forms , number activities , napping, drawing and reading . The Licensing Inspectors reviewed 5 staff records, 5 children records and 2 medications. The playground area was not inspected due to inclement weather. The exit interview was conducted with the program director.

Description: Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not ensure hazardous substances were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on September 14, 2017, in Toddler classroom there was disinfectant wipes in unlocked cabinet and a bottle of sanitizer tablets on the sink. The hazardous substances were labeled "Keep out of reach of children", "Warning" and "hazardous to humans".

Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not ensure the diapering surface was a nonabsorbent surface for diapering. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on September 14, 2017, in the toddler I classroom there was a tear on the diapering surface.
