An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted today from 7:00am-8:45am. There were 52 school-agers directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children? records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed arriving to care, participating in group play, individual activities and eating snack. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-F Description: Based on review, the facility failed to ensure that all staff have current documentation of First Aid and CPR. Evidence: Reviewed 6 staff records and found that Staff 6 did not have documentation of current First aid training. Plan of Correction: Staff is signed up to take First Aid in Mid October.
