Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 2:00pm-3:15pm. At the time of inspection, 37 school age children were directly supervised by 4 staff and ratios were in compliance. The sample size consisted of 8 children records and 6 medications. Children were observed during arrival to the after school program, participating in group play, playing tabletop games, listening to music, discussing upcoming events, and transitioning to outdoor play. The center was clean and record keeping was organized. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in medication administration, CPR and First Aid, as well as daily health observation training.
