An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 26 children with 2 staff were present at the beginning of this inspection. Walk thru of physical plant, review of emergency drills, injury report logs and records was completed. A total of 7 children's records were completed. Staff's CPR/First Aid/MAT training/daily observation and emergency contacts for both staff were verified. Children were observed selecting snack which consisted of milk, graham crackers and cheese. Sanitizing of the tables after snack was observed and bathroom procedures provided required oversight and supervision. Children were observed completing homework which staff were observed assisting with questions and guidance. Small individual activities such as drawing, cards and electronic device games which involved math skills to advance. Children were familiar with the routine schedule of the program. A nice transition observed from cleaning up and lining up to go to the gym for gross motor activities. Parent pick up observed which involved signing the children out on the attendance sheet. No medications at this time and no food allergies diagnoses. One new staff today. Staff records to include qualifications, background checks, orientation training, annual training and TB screenings are reviewed annually in the administrative office.
