A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted unannounced from 1:50 PM to 3:15 PM at the main office for a staff record and from 3:30 PM to 6:40 PM at the school site to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today, there were fifty-nine children, ages five to twelve years, with five staff. This morning, there were eighteen school age children supervised by two to three staff. I determined compliance with operational responsibilities, children's information, reports, caregiver training, hazardous substances, hand washing, emergency plan, emergency drills, food allergies, and food service. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
