An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 2:00pm-4:00pm. At the time of entrance, 49 children were in care with 3 staff members present. Children were observed during check in procedures and attendance, hand washing, snack time, working on homework, reading, and drawing. Staff files will be reviewed at a later date, however all 3 staff members were current in CPR and First Aid. A selection 5 children records, medications, emergency procedures, first aid kit and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-540-C Description: Based on observation, the first aid kit was not complete with the minimum required. Evidence: 1. The first aid kit was missing one triangular bandage. Plan of Correction: I will order one.
