An unannounced renewal study was was conducted from 10:15 am - 12:15 pm. There were 34 children in care being supervised by six staff members. The children were observed participating in structured Montessori Activities. Lunch is provided from home. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Ten injury reports were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 09/28/2017 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 10/13/2017. There are no medication's being administered to children in the facility at this time. There are currently three staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. The fire inspection, health inspection, and insurance were reviewed and current. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-1-A Description: Based on interview with administration it was determined that not all new agent's obtained the required central registry, and criminal history record check before the end of 30 days after the change. Evidence: There was a change in Agents effective 07/19/2017. Upon interview with administration it was determined that a criminal history check nor a central registry check had been obtained for the new agent. (Agent A) Plan of Correction: Administration is awaiting the return of the criminal history check and central registry check for agent A.
