An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:15 AM and ending at 8:50 AM. There were 23 school aged children in the care of three staff members during the inspection. The children were observed playing with manipulatives and playing games. The children were also observed eating breakfast which consisted of ham and cheese croissant or cereal, baby carrots, and milk. Six children?s records were reviewed and in compliance. Four staff records were reviewed. One medication was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as September 18, 2017. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as September 19, 2017. The most recent lock-down drill was documented as September 23, 2017.The most recent fire inspection was documented as February 22, 2017. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on review of documentation, the center did not have documentation of central registry finding for all staff within 30 days of employment as required. Evidence: Staff A, start date 07/31/2017, did not have a central registry finding in the staff record. Plan of Correction: The director will follow up with human resources to obtain a copy of the completed central registry finding and place it in the staff record upon receipt.
