- Technical Assistance:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/8/17 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection: the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. The following staff to child ratios and activities were observed: Infants #1: No infants or staff. Infants #2: Six infants with two staff. Some of the infants were being feed breakfast and two were preparing for nap. Toddler #1: Five children with one staff. Children were being served breakfast. Toddler #2: Seven children with two staff. Children were being served breakfast. Early Preschool #1 (Two/Three Years): Eight children with two staff. Children and staff were having circle time. Early Preschool #2 (Two/Three Years): Ten children with two staff. Children were having a story. Preschool #1 (Three/Four Years): Eight children with one staff. Children were looking at books. Preschool #2 (Three /Four Years): 13 children with two staff. Children were having circle time. Pre-K #1(Four/Five Years): 12 children with two staff. The children were having circle time. Pre-K #2(Four/Five Years): 18 children with two staff. The children were having circle time. School-Age Class: No children present. Age and stage appropriate activities were observed in all classrooms today. Four classroom observations were conducted. Conversations were held with several staff and children. Ten staff records were reviewed. Ten children records were reviewed. Medication procedures were reviewed for four children. The last monthly evacuation drill was documented on 11/6/17. The last shelter-in-place drill was documented on 10/19/17. Inspection started at 9:00 a. m. and concluded at 12:30.
