An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 3:50 PM and ending at 5:00 PM. There were thirty-six school aged children in care of three staff during the inspection. The kindergarten, first, and second grade students were observed being read a story by staff. The third, fourth, and fifth grade students were observed making turkey had puppets. Students were also observed reading and drawing. Restroom and hand washing procedures were observed. Five children?s records and two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Seven medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent lock-down drill was documented as September 14, 2017. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as November 6, 2017. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as November 3, 2017. The most recent fire inspection was documented as July 27, 2017. The most recent health inspection was documented as May 9, 2017.
