A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/13/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced inspection was conducted today. 6 children and 5 staff records were reviewed. See violation notice for missing information. Children were observed in a variety of activities today. The playground was not inspected due to inclement conditions. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E-1 Description: Based upon a review of records, one staff person does not have current certification in first aid and CPR. Evidence: 1 of 5 records reviewed did not contain documentation of current certifications. (Staff 1) Plan of Correction: The first aid class was missed. It will be rescheduled.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based upon a review of the available emergency preparedness plan, the plan does not include all required components. Evidence: The written plan does not include the "lockdown" component, or the reunification plan. Plan of Correction: The plan is being rewritten to include the missing components.
