Licensing inspector arrived at 10:15 am and departed at 1:00pm to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of the tour there was 45 children in care with 11staff . Children were observed playing outside, eating lunch and preparing for nap time. The sample size was five staff records and five children records.

Description: Based on record review and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure there was a written allergy plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on November 7, 2017, Child #1 did not have a written allergy care plan for physician diagnosed food allergy.

Plan of Correction: Parents has been asked for a written allergy plan from the child's pediatrician on or before12/1/17. Center Managment has been retrained to ensure this information is recieved during the initial paperwork appointment if any allergies are indicated. DM will review quarterly.

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E-1
Description: Based on interview and 1 of 5 records reviewed, the vendor did not ensure staff providing care to children had CPR and First Aid within 30 days of the date of employment or current CPR and First Aid. Evidence: During the subsidy inspection conducted on November 7, 2017, staff #1 ( Date of hire 09/7/2017) did not have CPR and First aid training with in 30 days of employment.

Plan of Correction: All new staff member without CPR/FA will be scheduled with in the next 14 days for a class. Moving forward, center management will schedule a monthly CPR/FA class to ensure compliance. DM will request training dates when approving new hire dates.
