Today we discussed information in children's records to include the address for parents' place of employment. This information was located during the inspection, but a place for this documentation was not present on the printed forms located in children's classroom files.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from. to 12:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. At the time of entrance the following adult to child ratios were observed: Classroom F: 14 children, ages 3 to 5 years old, with 2 staff Classroom C: 11 children, ages 3 to 5 years old, with 2 staff Classroom D: 10 children, ages 3 to 5 years old, with 2 staff Classroom E: 12 children, ages 3 to 5 years old, with 2 staff Classroom A: 11 children, ages 3 to 5 years old, with 2 staff Classroom B: 12 children, ages 3 to 5 years old, with 1 staff (nap time) The records sample size consisted of 7 children?s records. Staff records are housed off site and will be reviewed at a separate inspection. Children were observed finishing lunch and washing hands and settling on cots for nap period. Hand washing and restroom procedures, table sanitizing and rest period were also observed. Medication administration was not observed. Classroom staff reported no medication being administered to children and no accidents or injuries requiring first aid or medical attention this year.
