Comments:
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:15 AM and ending at 8:40 AM. There were sixteen school aged children in care during the inspection. The children were observed playing with manipulatives and drawing with pastels. The children were observed learning about the French painter, Paul Cezanne. The children were also observed eating breakfast which consisted of sausage and cheese pita or cereal, fresh apple or chilled blended fruit, and milk. Hand washing procedures were observed. Five children?s records and two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Two medications were observed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented October 23, 2017. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as September 19, 2017. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as September 28, 2017. The most recent fire inspection was documented as January 6, 2017. The most recent health inspection was documented as May 12, 2017.
