Background checks updates were reviewed.
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection from 11:10 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. There were 15 infants and children in care with 3 staff maintaining ratios at all times. The children were observed washing hands, during lunch, wathcing a movie, ,playing and preparing for naps and napping. Five staff and five children?s records were reviewed. Violations from the previous inspection were also reviewed and all had been corrected. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-140-A Description: Based on record review, the center did not have physicals for all children within 30 days of enrollment. Evidence: 1. The inspector reviewed five records. Two of five records did not have physicals. Child #3 was enrolled 8/1/2015 and no physical was on file. Child #4 was enrolled 8/1/2017 and there was an emergency room form completed by a physician but not a physical examination. Plan of Correction: The director will get the physicals from the parents.
