An unannounced inspection was A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on November 29, 2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Four staff were present with forty-four children at the onset of inspection. Staff trainings and five children's records were reviewed. Children were observed observed in various activities in the cafeteria, eating a snack in the cafeteria and playing outside. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on review and interview, facility did not ensure there is a written emergency preparedness plan that addresses all required components regarding emergency evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown. Evidence: On November 29, 2017, the emergency preparedness plan does not address reuniting children with parents or authorized person to pick up after a shelter-in-place and lockdown. Plan of Correction: Will draft up a shelter-in-place crisis management plan and lockdown crisis management plan that includes reunifying procedures.
