A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted this date to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 53 children with 10 staff present. Children were observed having circle time, reviewing the days of the week, discussing the Madeline book and the country of France. Infants were being held while being fed and and experiencing tummy time. Snowmen crafts were displayed in classrooms and children were talking about the weather. A total of 10 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed this date. Thank you for your cooperation this date. This inspection began at 9:30am and ended at 12:45pm. Evidence: Virginia Preservice training has not been completed for any staff with the exception of the vendor Plan of Correction: The center is considering opting out of the subsidy program.
