Comments:
Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 10:30am through 12:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 32 children in care with four staff. Children present ranged in age from 16months to five years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. The swipe card machine was in working order during the inspection.

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E
Description: Based on record review and interview the center failed to ensure that all staff providing care to children have CPR and First Aid with 30 days of employment. Evidence: 1 - The record for staff 2 and 3 do not contain documentation that current CPR or First Aid training have been completed. 2 - Staff 1 confirmed that staff 2 and 3 have not completed the required CPR and First Aid training within the allotted 30 day period.

Plan of Correction: Center management will ensure that all staff complete the required training within the allotted time frames.

Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1
Description: Based on review of procedures the center failed to provide a reunification plan for after an emergency evacuation. Evidence: 1 - The emergency evacuation plan provided does not include a reunification plan. 2 - Staff confirmed that the plan provided does not include information regarding methods to reunite children with families after an emergency evacuation.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection. Center management will create, write and implement/train/inform staff and parents regarding reunification procedures after an emergency event.

Description: Based on review of procedures the center failed to provide a reunification plan for after a shelter-in-place emergency. Evidence: 1 - The shelter-in-place plan provided does not include a reunification plan. 2 - Staff confirmed that the plan provided does not include information regarding methods to reunite children with families after an emergency shelter-in.-place event.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection. Center management will create, write and implement/train/inform staff and parents regarding reunification procedures after an emergency event.

Evidence: 1 - The emergency lockdown plan provided does not include a reunification plan. 2 - Staff 1 confirmed that the plan provided does not include information regarding procedures to reunite children with families after an emergency lockdown event.
