An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 11:30 AM and ending at 2:15 PM. There were one hundred thirty-one children in care during the inspection. The children?s ages ranged from two months through five years old. The infants were observed going for a buggy ride, playing with manipulatives, and sleeping in cribs. The children ages two through five years old were observed eating lunch which consisted of fish nuggets, sweet potatoes, pineapple pieces, and milk. The children were also observed preparing for and during the resting period. Fifteen children?s records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Six medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 11/1/2017. The health inspection was documented as 5/1/2017. The most recent fire inspection was 11/29/2017.
