Technical Assistance:
During the inspection, the licensing representative reminded staff to complete December evacuation drill/documentation prior to leaving from extended break.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:00am-10:40am. At the time of entrance, 14 children were in the care of 3 staff members present. Children were observed engaged in group activities and independent play activities with various manipulatives. Positive guidance and encouragement were observed between staff and children during potty training and handwashing. A selection of 5 children's records, evacuation drills, required postings and other documents were reviewed. Staff records are maintained at the primary FCMS location and will be reviewed at a later date. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place. Evidence: 3 cleaning substances were observed in an unlocked cabinet.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-320-B
Description: Based on observation, the restroom did not have the required supplies. Evidence: Disposable towels were not available at the time of inspection.

Plan of Correction: We will make them available for children to use; Corrected during inspection.
