Today's visit was a routine monitoring visit. The inspection began at 9:20 am and concluded at 3:40pm. There were one hundred thirty-eight children present during the day of the inspection with twenty-six staff members and additional auxiliary staff. During the inspection infant care was observed, observations took place in four out of eleven classrooms, diapering was observed, lunch time was observed, the playground was viewed, the second building was viewed, emergency supplies were viewed, ten out of forty-five staff records were reviewed, and ten out of one hundred forty-three children's records were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-180-D Description: Based on the inspector's request to view diver disclosures of any moving traffic violations that have occurred five years prior to employment and and during employment, the center failed to have a system in place to capture this information. Evidence: The center conducts an initial DMV check and does not have a statement or any other additional system to ensure a staff member is required to report moving traffic violations during employment. Plan of Correction: The PD will develop a statement for drivers' to sign regarding traffic violations past and any that may occur during time of employment.
