Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 12/15/17 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today's visit was a routine monitoring visit. The inspection began at 9:20 am and concluded at 3:40pm. There were one hundred thirty-eight children present during the day of the inspection with twenty-six staff members and additional auxiliary staff. During the inspection infant care was observed, observations took place in four out of eleven classrooms, diapering was observed, lunch time was observed, the playground was viewed, the second building was viewed, emergency supplies were viewed, ten out of forty-five staff records were reviewed, and ten out of one hundred forty-three children's records were reviewed. Background check information was discussed during the time of the inspection. Thank you for your time, please call me at (540)309-2051 if you have any questions. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection: the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
