An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:10 AM and 8:05 AM. There were thirteen children in care of two staff during the inspection. The children?s ages ranged between five and thirteen years old. The children were observed coloring and playing games. The children were also observed eating breakfast which consisted of ham and cheese croissant or cereal and granola bar, orange juice, and milk. Hand washing procedures were observed. Eight children?s records and three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 1/21/17.The most recent health inspection was documented as 5/19/17. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 12/12/17. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 11/3/17. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 9/22/17. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were observed and in compliance.
