A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/28/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived at 11:15 and departed the program at 2:00. There were 42 children in care on the day of the inspection with seven staff. There were five children's and eight staff's records reviewed during the inspection. A physical plant walk through was completed, and observations of the children and four medications were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on review of the emergency plan, the center failed to ensure that the plan had all required components. Evidence: 1. The emergency plan did not contain how to reunite parents with children after an emergency evacuation, shelter in place and lock down. Plan of Correction: The administrator will add the missing part to the plan for each emergency situation.
