The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Friday, December 22, 2017 from approximately 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The owner/director and assistant director were present and assisted the licensing inspector throughout this inspection. The census for today's inspection consisted of 29 children being adequately supervised and cared for by staff. The licensing inspector completed observations of the children in care completing a variety of activities to include the school aged children watching the movie, Frosty the Snowman, and playing at the outdoor playground area with staff providing adequate supervision. The Infants were observed in their designated area asleep, sitting in highchairs being fed by staff, and engaged in play on the floor with age appropriate equipment. The diapering area and refrigerator were inspected to ensure compliance with requirements. A formal observation was completed by the inspector of the children in the Twos group in which they were observed at the outdoors playground area engaged in play with various available equipment and interacting with peers and staff.
