VENDSUB-000 STAFF QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
VENDSUB-000 SPECIAL CARE PROVISIONS AND EMERGENCIES
Licensing inspector arrived at 12:30 pm and departed at 4:45pm to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of the tour there was thirty-five children in care with 8 staff . Additional staff was present to assist in the classrooms. Children were observed napping, watching a movie and parent picking up the children. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 5 staff records. Areas of non-compliance was reviewed with the director.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-005-B Description: Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure for each group of children, the vendor maintained a written record (hard copy) of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: There was not a written record of daily attendance documentation of arrival and departure for each group of children for January 9, 2018. Plan of Correction: Due to emergency situation the children had be combined the daily attendance was not completed. The daily attendance will be completed every day.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on and interview and review of procedures, the vendor did not have all components in the emergency prepardness plan . Evidence: During the subsidy inspection conducted on January 9, 2018, the vendor did not have the word reuniting in the emergency preparedness plan for evacuation , shelter in place and lockdown. Plan of Correction: The word reunite will be put into the emergency preparedness plan.
