A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 01/16/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector arrived at 10:30am and departed at 12:00pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 37 children in care with 6 staff present. Children were observed participating in a dinosaur activity, bathroom break and hand washing. Children were also observed watching television and eating lunch. A sample of 3 medications were reviewed in addition to 3 staff and 3 children's records. Transportation is not provided at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on a record review the vendor failed to ensure all required components were included in the written emergency preparedness plan. Evidence: The plan did not include reunification plans for an evacuation, lock down or shelter-in-place. Plan of Correction: The director did not understand the reunification part of the plan. She now understands what needs to be included and will add it to the center's emergency plan.
